Genetically, humans are the same.  However, our ancestry, cultures, lifestyles we lead and the stresses we face, set us all apart.  It only stands to reason that the health issues we face as individuals, may be caused by different triggers.  One persons headaches may be caused by stress, while another from a food sensitivity.

By identifying the underlying causes of an individual’s health issues, management of root cause symptoms can be addressed.  An individual approach helps the practitioner and client discover and identify the cause of a common health issue and begin a management plan. For example a practitioner would recommend stress management tools to the person suffering from stress headaches whereas headaches due to food sensitivities would require an elimination diet to determine the exact food sensitivity.  Taking an over-the-counter pain reliever may “band-aid” the pain, but it doesn’t get to the underlying cause in order to stop the headaches from occurring in the first place.
